Meet PIRL

Jenna Landy

Jenna is a doctoral candidate in the social psychology program at NYU. She is interested in how the groups that we belong to shape the inferences we make about others, and how these inferences translate into biased decisions in political and legal contexts. In her spare time, you might find Jenna figure skating at Bryant Park, watching stand-up at the Comedy Cellar, or searching for the best cannoli in NYC.

Emma is a first-year Global PhD student in Social Psychology. Her research interests include the intersection of gender and morality, as well as the role of gender stereotypes in the criminal justice system. She is working with Eric Knowles at NYU and Andrea Vial at NYU Abu Dhabi.

Callie Cade

Callie is a second year PhD student in in social psychology at NYU. She received her BA in Psychology from the University of Michigan, with a minor in Linguistics. Her interests include implicit bias, stereotyping, political psychology, and sociolinguistics. In her spare time, you’ll find her updating her Beli, reading on her hour-long commute (she is currently trying to read a book from every country), or at the movie theater.
